We didn’t just choose any pilot to lift you to the sky, we chose the best! How do we know Khaled Al Shishani is the best?
For a start, he’s the first and only jordanian that holds an American Balloon Pilot Licence, plus, he was the first Jordanian to obtain a Jordan Commercial Balloon Licence. On top of that, he has over 20 years of experience working with the Royal Aerosports Club of Jordan.
Khaled has been a licenced hot air balloon pilot for over 30 years, which just goes to show that he clearly loves his work and has been doing it safely for decades. You could say that hot air ballooning is in his blood

Wadi Rum Air Balloon Safety
Safety is our priority, both before and during our Wadi Rum air balloon tours. There is a small chance that the weather conditions won’t allow for a safe flight on any given day. In these very rare cases, we will cancel a scheduled flight because it’s safer to stay grounded.
We promise that you can reschedule, or get a refund, in the case that not-so-great weather forces us to cancel a scheduled Wadi Rum air balloon experience.
When a Wadi Rum air balloon flight is cleared to go ahead, our professional staff maintain and check all the balloon equipment prior to the take off time, This ensures safety compliance and our pilot simply will not take off if there’s an issue.
Part of our safety procedure includes briefing all passengers on their role in making the experience a safe and memorable one for everyone. Our safety guidelines are simple and all that we ask is that you follow all guidelines closely and pay attention to all instructions set out for you.
Also, for everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we can’t allow chldren under the age of 7 in our Wadi Rum air balloon. We’re sorry kiddos, we know that’s a huge bummer, but you’ll just have to ask your parents come back, so you can join us when you’re 7.

Thank you for your interest in our Wadi Rum Air Balloon adventure. Please find all the essential details and requirements for your booking below.
Important Operational Details
· Flight Schedule: Flights are only available in the morning.
· Meeting Time: You will be required to meet our team one hour before sunrise. The exact time will be confirmed the day before your flight.
· Meeting Location: Well pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the flight site. We’ll confirm this at the time of booking.
· Weather Dependency: All Wadi Rum air Balloon flights are subject to weather conditions. For safety reasons, the pilot has the final say on whether the flight goes ahead. In case of cancellation due to weather, you will typically be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
